ABOUT ERIK

I was introduced to yoga while working as a farrier in Colorado. One of my clients was yoga teacher. She taught me poses to care for my spine.
Many years of working beneath horses and flying through a truck windshield impacted my knees, hips and spine. I traded farrier work for academics and white-collar work. My yoga practice became more than an effective alternative to epidural steroids. It introduced me to my true self and how to banish self-imposed limits.
Since 2016, I practiced almost daily. I explored various dimensions of this ancient science and technology with yoga teachers in California, Nevada and Washington, DC who embody Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara and Kundalini traditions. I completed my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training at Kaya Yoga, Davis, CA and Chair Yoga Certification at Yoga Heals Us, Mystic, CT.
